Here is an interesting barware set from the mid-century. It is a box of twelve (12) cocktail sticks, all in the shape of signs that depict historical inns of England.  

* Inns that are depicted include: Three Kings Inn, Rings Arms, The Shaven Crow, Prospect of Whitey, Hampshine Yeoman, Falstaff Hotel, Flowers-The Norman King, The Dove-Charles Hatten, Ye Olde Cott Inne, Trip to Jerusalem Inn, The Barley Mow, and Ye Olde Fighting Cocks.

How the cocktail sticks are used (per the box):

* "See the location of the hotel or inn printed on reverse of swinging sign."
* "The STAY-PUT Swinging Sign clips over the rim of the glass in a delightful manner."

  • Original box - which is in very good shape, except for sticker residue on back, and slight surface wear. 
  • Cocktail sticks appear to have never been used. 
  • The printing on the back of the 'Trip to Jerusalem Inn' sign is somewhat faded.
